Daisy Hexies Sweet Sunday Dilly Bag Sewing Kit

We made this little Sweet Sunday Dilly Bag using some low volumes and some embroidered Daisy Hexies hexagons, and this is a kit to make your own!

It is a very sweet and dainty little bag that measures approx. 8" x 9" when finished.

The kit includes:

- (28) 2.5" squares of low volume fabrics

- Daisy Hexies panel by Amy Kallissa (we used 12 hexagons and had some leftover on the panel for another project)

- casing fabric

- 25cm x WOF of Purity Cotton/Linen in Natural Seeded for lining and backing fabric

- ribbon

Optional: (6) skeins of DMC stranded cotton for embroidered hexagons - the selection will be similar to the colours used in our sample but may not be identical

Optional: paper pattern for Sweet Sunday Dilly Bag from Treehouse Textiles (includes an acrylic hexagon template)

Note - the pattern assumes you are hand piecing your hexagon panel. We made ours using English Paper piecing as this is our preferred method, however you will have more off-cuts doing it this way when you trim up your panel before constructing the bag.

Batting is not included but is the perfect use for leftover scraps from quilts!
