Garden Patch Quilt Pattern (PDF Download)

The Garden Patch Quilt by The Stitch Saloon celebrates the traditional nine-patch quilt block in a modern way.

It is a fat quarter friendly pattern that is well suited to beginners. The pattern has been designed to use as much of your fat quarters as possible, and the strip piecing method used to create the nine-patch blocks is clever and efficient. Each fat quarter is used for the blocks with light squares in the corner and dark squares in the corner, so the guesswork of how to place your fabrics is taken care of for you and all you need to do is cut, match and sew!

The quilt measures 52" x 60"

A note on the fabric requirements - the pattern assumes that each of your fat quarters are at least 18" wide, and for makers outside of Australia where the standard width of a fat quarter is 18", this means there is very little or no room for trimming. The pattern includes direction on how to alter the measurements to suit the sizes of your fat quarters, if necessary.
